Saja Mungro

About Me (Skill #1)

Hi my name is Saja, I am a student at Roanoke College. I am was Secretary of H.O.L.A. I am graduating in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in history. I enjoy going to the gym and spending my time outdoors. I also really love baking and hope to open up my own bakery one day as a side job! I watch a lot of soccer and my favorite team is Brazil.

Metadata (Skill #2)

This is my application and metadata for the online newsletter. It was created by The Blue Ridge Lambda Press in Roanoke Valley on Sunday, February 1st, 2004. The newsletter is called The Blue Ridge Lambda Press, no.22, no.1, and has 14 pages in total.

Skill #3

Victoria Woodhull OCR

Evening star. [volume] (Washington, D.C.), 05 May 1957. Chronicling America: Historic American Newspaper. Lib. of Congress. <https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn83045462/1957-05-05/ed-1/seq-108

This article mostly talks about the tea parties in the White House and how the first ladies used this as a social event for women to connect and talk about issues without men. It was used as a place for feminists meetings, Victoria Woodhull was only mentioned at the tail end of this article due to her being the first women to advocate herself as President of the United States.

Word Cloud

Theodore Roosevelt March 4, 1905. The word people came up quite a bit. There seems to be a lot of thoughts on togetherness and being peaceful and working through problems.
John Adams March 4, 1797. There seems to be an importance on congress and state affairs at the moment. There seems to be an urgency to fix state affairs and work on peace.

Google Ngram

I wanted to see how much literature was made for the three Black women and which one had the most. As the results show Sojourner Truth has the most literature with Harriet Tubman in second and Rosa Parks in third.

Google Maps (Skill #4)

https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1THR1xMt_0jO_Tybysm7GhRRtv2JtAcM&usp=sharing

This map is my Grandpa’s house in Myrtle Beach. He lives in Murrels Inlet and I go there often during the summer, I like to call it my home away from home. I really enjoy spending time with my Grandpa and Ms. Cindy so this location holds a special meaning to me. The extra locations are places we like to go and things we like to do.

Timeline JS (Skill #5)

My Top Three Greatest Albums

Audio Playground (Skill #6)

The place I chose is my dorm hall on campus, which is Chesapeake Hall. I chose this place because I am always here and it made the most sense to me since I know the floor like the back of my hand. Chesapeake Hall is the Greek life dorm that I have been living in for a year, even though I myself am not in Greek life.

Twine Game (Skill #7)

This is the Beginning Slide to the game and explains how to start off. This is a text-based game that will take you to different places on the decisions that you make on each slide.
